The Carr Archives

Mediocrity has such a bitter taste when excellence lies so near!

These are photos of the longest lasting line of working bulldogs in the US. They have bred consistent in phenotype and genotype / form and function for over 80 years. Their purity is unquestionable. It is a privilege and an honor to continue breeding this critically endangered and legendary bloodline of an already rare breed. All photos are the personal property of Heather Wilkins. ©All Right Reserved

The Carr White English are native to Hawkinsville, Georgia and generally only found in the middle Georgia region. Today, there are less than 100 known to remain. If you think you may have or know someone who may a dog that could be a CWE, please contact us. Before any dog can be deemed 'CWE', it must first be evaluated by the WEBPS. We will be establishing a DNA database for the CWE to match prospects against the DNA profile of the CWE for verification of the dog's heritage and purity. Again, a dog IS NOT a CWE until it has been evaluated and approved by the WEBPS. Every CWE is certified by the WEBPS as such with a certificate of authenticity and is registered by the BBC and the WEBPS as Carr White English.
