A single breed registry.

The WEBPS is the first Official Registry for the White English Bulldog!

Worldwide membership!

WEBPS papers are transferable to the BBC.

Registration applications

The WEBPS will remain the parent registry of the White English Bulldog breed; a breed that has existed for as long as anyone can remember, yet has only recently been acknowledged outside of farmers, ranchers, homesteaders, and cattlemen. However, the WEBPS will no longer be registering dogs as of 6-1-08. Dogs previously registered will remain in the files of the WEBPS and are transferable to the BBC.

The preservation of the breed requires strict control of the remaining stock, of which few can recognize as true to type due to the popularity of several modern American bull breeds that descend from the original WEB. BBC registration of any and all WEBs will be only with the approval of the WEBPS. Approval of registered stock, litters, breed inspectors, and judges is made by a panel agreement by the Charter Members of the WEBPS. All WEB judges and breed inspectors will be WEBPS approved and sanctioned before BBC approval. Any approved co-registry of the WEB must adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the WEBPS. Registration fees of co-registries are separate and independent of the WEBPS.

Registration to the BBC is dependant upon the approval the the WEBPS. Once approved by the WEBPS, the BBC will be notified of the decision of the WEBPS, wherein they may issue BBC registration papers.

Registration papers of Carr WE can and will be revoked by the BBC and the WEBPS if:

  • using registered CWE in personal protection or Shutzhund

  • staged / competitive fighting of dogs

  • staged / competitive catch events

  • baiting of bulls, bears, or any animal

  • use of the dog for any illegal purposes

  • any unprovoked aggression by the dog

"To put it concisely: breeders who cover up hereditary defects occurring in litters are acting as gravediggers to a breed. Breed clubs that continue to disregard hereditary deficiencies, such as lack of maternal instinct in the brood-bitch or mating instinct in the stud dog, should be excluded from the privileges of the responsible kennel club."

"Every geneticist stresses the fact that hereditary defects can be eradicated by well-planned breeding. One basic rule must be absolute honesty."  Dr Dieter Fleig

Failure to uphold proper record-keeping procedures could result in the termination of membership and registration of all WEBPS dogs.
